inno TSD is an international economic development and innovation management consultancy based in Sophia Antipolis on the French Riviera. We are part of the inno group with offices in Germany and Sweden. The company is growing and we will soon launch several EC-funded projects that will be managed by the French team. These projects are targeting both European and international networks. To meet these needs we are recruiting a full time Consultant/Project Manager, starting February 2019. The selected person will integrate our dynamic international team based in our Sophia Antipolis office in France.

He/she will deliver content-related consultancy services, organise and implement outreach/impact maximisation activities, support Project Directors in overall project management, quality assurance and evaluation of the projects, and contribute to marketing activities of the firm. Our project portfolio is very diverse. Key thematics covered by our new projects include: energy efficiency, ICT, circular economy, smart cities, water management, citizen science, stakeholder engagement, outreach, support to exploitation of results in research and innovation collaborative projects, clusters, internationalisation, incubators…

Although the position is based in Sophia Antipolis (French Riviera), it will require regular international travel.

Requirements / skills:

  • To meet this exciting challenge we are seeking a highly motivated candidate with the following attributes:
  • University degree (scientific subjects) or technical degree, preferably engineering (generalist)
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience appreciated
  • Consultancy experience appreciated
  • Experience in European research and innovation projects appreciated: FP7, Horizon 2020, EASME…
  • Full fluency in English, good French; other languages appreciated
  • Ability to work on consultancy tasks and accompanying tasks in the projects with technical content. Examples of tasks include: analysis of user requirements, impact assessment, writing of news and articles, interviews with scientific and technical organisations, policy brief writing, network animation
  • Ability to juggle different tasks at the same time and to respect deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills, especially in English
  • Independence, but good team working abilities
  • Ability to anticipate, propose and implement solutions
  • Outstanding organisational skills, accuracy, numeracy and assertiveness
  • Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office and database software)
  • Capacity to work in an international environment

Terms of employment: full time, the position is based on a CDI contract under French law.

Remuneration package: depending on experience
